Barely 48 hours after he declared he was quitting the Cameroon music scene, Gomez Oba has attempted to resuscitate his career. The singer started by reactivating his Facebook page which he had deactivated temporarily.
He then updated his profile picture with a photograph of controversial US rapper and billionaire, Kanye West before giving shout outs to Magasco, DBanj, Ko-C and Maahlox.
Moments ago, he shared a 16 seconds video of fans hyping him on the streets with a self-praising body of text.
“You will believe in yourself, you will say the truth without no politics … you will believe in God and serve only him…” a portion of the passage read.
During his short-lived retirement, Gomez continued to be trolled by many social media users. While some colleagues and fans pleaded that he returns, others said he was ungrateful to those that mentored him, and had been rash in deciding to drop the mic.
Whether he heeded to the pleas of his fans and colleagues or he regreted his action, remains unknown.
Why remains certain however is the fact that Gomez will continue to thrill fans and make good music again.
