Femcee Askia Karin is set to reach out to victims of the armed conflict in Cameroon’s English speaking regions.
The former Alpha Beta and Beard gang music star named the initiative the Ngarma Charity Tour, after her latest hit, Ngarma featuring Mr Leo.
She and her team will visit the towns on Buea, Limbe and Kumba in the South West region, Bamenda in the North West region, and Douala in the Littoral, known to host thousands of internally displaced persons. She is yet to release the tour dates.
“The aim of this tour is to share the little I have, spend quality time and have conversations with the affected,” she explained.
She further appealed to persons of goodwill to make contributions they can to ensure the initiative is a success.
Askia’s tour announcement comes shortly after that of her former Alpha Beta label mate, Mr Leo.
