The Gokoma Vibe creator, Gomez Oba has thrown in the towel after a few years in the limelight.
The former Lionn Productions singer made known the decision yesterday, two weeks after releasing the visuals of banger, Woman featuring Vivid and Manefrieni.
On labour Day (May 1st), He took to his Facebook page to complain about bloggers whom he said delight in negativity only. In his serial rant, he went on to say he was not being appreciated enough and that his Woman was a bigger song than Stanley Enow’s Parapariparo.
“… I am done with music in Cameroon. I am sorry to those who believed in me …” he stated in one of his posts.
Gomez would however have a field day, before quitting the media space. Many Facebook platforms used screenshots of his rant to troll him with some asking him to sell his page and move on.
Others doubled down, trolling him for poor use of language in his outbursts.
By today morning, the singer’s Facebook page was taken off the platform, apparently deactivated.
This is not the first time Gomez is appearing in the news for controversy. Recently, he made a fuss when he revealed on the Freaky Table show that Mr Leo and Kameni were not on good terms.
He later apologised for the outburst, but as demonstrated recently, continues to attract negative media attention.
Mr Leo responding to Gomez and Kameni leaving his Lionn Productions label, had described them as “impatient and ignorant”.
