Fast rising Cameroonian comedian, Kwoh Elonge has sent tongues wagging over his financial viability thanks to comedy.
Talking to Cameroon Tribune on the heels of his Presidential Debate comedy event in Buea, Kwoh said contrary to what many think of comedy, he has been cashing out from it.
“A key motivator to Auntie Felicia comedy is how we have sustainable we have developed it. Almost all our comedy scenes are adverts,” he revealed.
They of the Aunty Felicia comedy team, he went on, “have been able to partner with the biggest brands including the US embassy, Canadian embassy, Prudential Beneficial, Upharm, and several other businesses at home and abroad”.
“The pay is not shabby. We see a lot of potential and we are poised to reaping the fruits,” he asserted.
Kwoh who too is a trained journalist and Masters Degree holder in Mass Communication also used the opportunity to address his comedy style which has often been the subject of public debate.
The 33-year-old comedian who is currently pursuing a PhD made it clear that he is not giving up on his career path anytime soon.
“For those who know it is a man, they still are in awe of how real it is. That to me is testament to its uniqueness,” he stated.
