Artist, Bongkiya Bertilla Lantum aka Tilla was one of many prominent figures that answered present at a recent campaign against sexual harassment at the University of Buea.
The event hosted in the institution’s largest lecture hall, Amphi 750 had as theme, ‘saying no to sexual harassment in and out of the university environment’.
Mounting the stage, Tilla in a video shared on her Facebook page performed one of her songs, receiving immense applause from the students present.
“I’ll forever be grateful for moments like this. Never give up!!! Thank you Jesus!” She wrote later, sharing images from the event.
Also at the seminar were performers from renowned art troupe, Stage Life.
The seminar was organised by the University of Buea’s Department of English Law in collaboration with the Department of Women & Gender Studies.
Other dignitaries present included Justice Maureen Chibili, Hon Nourane Foster.
The End Game
Tilla’s performance at the University of Buea is one of her first public appearances since her las bout of personal issues. Tilla who has had a hard last and a history or often falling out with fans since leaving Jovi’s New Bell Music years ago, nearly lost it this time.
After a few weeks of hibernation however, she has resurfaced, expressing her determination to stay positive and move on in life. On March 22nd, 2022, Tilla released a new song titled End Game.
