Serial hit maker, Ko-C and other entertainment colleagues have cut off wagging tongues, fulfilling their promise to educate the daughter of late colleague, Fhish Lesly. Shortly after Fhish’s death in December 2021, Ko-C was one of many artistes and entertainment stakeholders that made promises to his family.
“I will be taking charge of your daughter’s education from now for the next ten years. She is going to get the best education as long as I am alive,” Ko-C had said during a ceremony to pay last respects to the late artist on January 7, 2022. Many naysayers had questioned the promise, with some accusing the snger of chasing clout.
With the 2022/2023 academic year on course however, the late artiste’s daughter, is being sent to school thanks to Ko-C and others redeeming their promises. “Today is a memorable day as it is the first day of school for pour baby Gophmen Mia Ivanna-Latimore and also a very emotional das as it was her dad’s greatest wish to be there for her on this particular day and personally take her to school,” a September 12 message on late Fhish’s Facebook page read.
Baby Iva, it went on, “lost her dad but she gained a hundred more parents who have been there for her…” Among those named, are Ko-C who paid her tuition and provided for her needs, Mama Atalaku and husband, Epie (Aimglobal), Kobo of the Laugh and Learn Talk Show, Ebanga Njang, Roy mama, and others.
“We are certain her father has a huge smile on his face… thank you all for your immense love and prayers,” the message added.
